Anemia or anemia is when the body does not make enough red blood cells. This may be due to insufficient intake of nutrients that are essential for blood formation: iron, vitamin C, copper and vitamin B12. At the same time, it is worth focusing on epigenetic processes related to blood formation (for example, activation of the FOXO3 gene, which controls red blood cell maturation), support for haematopoietic stem cells or antioxidant protection of red blood cells. Supporting thyroid function is also important.
